Show 1964 FALL CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT B.P.W. CLUB The Fall Conference of the Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Southern District, was held at the Methodist Church at Milford, Utah on Saturday night, November 7, 1964 at 7:00 P.M. The Banquet tables and leaves. Gwen Mrs. greeting Smith, to those Club Collect waS were beautifully decorated with colorful fall President of the Milford Club extended welcome and attending the Conference. led by Pat Rimpau of the Milford Club. Pledge of Allegiance was led by District flowers Ina Norton of the Milford Director, Club. Sarah Bakes introduced the State Officers 1st Vice President Joyce Frisby Braden 2nd Vice President Olga Anne Kidd Recording Secretary Ada Carpenter- State Chairman - present. - - state President, Frances Lennox was unable to attend. District Officers Flossie Johnson, Southern District Vice Director and Dora McMullin, Southern District Secretary and Treasurer were also - introdueed. Invocation was given by Naomi Hughes. The following musical numbers were introduced and rendered during the Banquet. Piano Solo - by President Gwen Smith Linda Roberts Vocal Duet Josephine Killam and Geraldine Kirk by Marjorie Mecham. - accompanied Roll Call of Clubs and members present: Panguitch 8, This was Meeting. a Cedar City 12, St. George 3, Milford 17 and Beaver 27. total of 67 members present to enjoy the Minutes of the Spring Conference 1964 approved. The program was were read lovely Banquet and by Dora McMullin and under the direction of the State Officers. Recording Secretary Anne Kldd spoke first. She stressed the importance of keeping our History Books up to date, for each B.P.W. Club member to extend the privilege of B.P.W. membership to other business and professiol our Federation on active membership.
