The Eastern District B.P.W. Roosevelt and Duchesne. consists of three clubs - Vernal, Our District Convention was held at Roosevelt, Aug. 29, 1941. most happy to have four state officers present, ie1, Pres. Lenora Was it Hazel Romer, Myrta Hales, Ali ce Manning, and Hazel Peterson. (? Peterson, if not please put the right name in this place.) We were - This year our Annual Christmas Party was held at Roosevelt. Vernal Club members were responsible for the dinner; Roosevelt the program and Duchesne the games. The renewal of old a.cquaintances was a treat and the meeting of new members a real pleasure. The Roosevelt Club has been busy sponsoring activities by which they could raise money to help build and furnish the Roosevelt Hospital. This is a modern up to date building and has been built by the loyal work of different organizations in Roosevelt. The B.p.W. Club should be commended for to much this needed in limp contrigutions project. The Duchesne Club Sponsored its Annual Amateur Hour last fall, which is looked forward to by members of the community. Many people took part on the program. The Duchesne and Roosevelt Clubs will Sponsor their Annual Tea for This to take place the second the Seniors of their respective high schools. week in May. The Immunization Campaigns have been decidedly helped by the direct interest and help of the various club members. |
