A We passed several bars with houses on, but I don't remember of seeing any one along the river. Q did you pass a place called Hite, do you remember that? A Yes sir; we stopped there. A The Edison Company had a large, flat- bottom boat; I believe it had a stern wheel on it; they were hauling supplies from Lees Ferry up to Mr. Fowler's camp.
