Show 3401 1424 MR. NIMS: Yes sir. MR. FARNSWORTH: I don't know that it makes much difference whether that is " crushed" or " scared". MR. NIMS: We had one man there that was always scared. I think in one of place there, where I say he was getting more of a coward, and scared, and a nuisance, everyday. MR. FARNSWORTH: That word should be " scared"-- " was scared", instead of " was crushed"; scared is the word. MR. NIMS: Yes, scared. MR. FARNSWORTH: Not crushed. MR. NIMS: No. MR. FARNSWORTH: That is on page 2, under date of June 4th. There may be some other minor corrections. THE SPECIAL MASTER: It may be admitted subject to any corrections. MR NIMS: I used the letter " k" in my notes in place of " c" and I think in his transcription there, my using " k", he didn't understand the words. MR. FARNSWORTH: We were also handed a volume marked " Miscellaneous" by Franklin A. Nims" on the red label part of the volume, the volume appears to contain collection of articles that apparently were of interest to Mr. Nims. I take it your offer is confined to those portions of the volume |
