Show 3445 Lint- D 1468 to Greenriver, and there we got three boats, Galloway type boats. We took those on down the Green river through Cataract canyon; we ran a line through Cataract canyon, then picked up our old line at Bull Frog, and worked on down and continued the work which Mr. Trimble and Major Fowler were doing. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Is that the same year? A Yes sir. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q On the first trip, as I understand it, you left Greenriver, Utah, and went overland to where? MR. FARNSWORTH: I don't think he said he left the Green river on that trip. A Yes sir. We worked down the Freemont river and ran a line of levels, a fly line across, and worked the Freemont river. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Down to the Colorado? A Yes sir. Q Then when you reached the Colorado did you stop there? A No sir; we kept right on working down the river. Q Can you tell me what day you entered the Colorado river, the date? A No sir. |
