The Secretary is authorized in connection with 11 the project to construct, operate, and maintain or otherwise 12 provide for the basic public outdoor recreation facilities, to +3 acquire or otherwise to include within the project area such 14 adjacent lands or interests therein as are necessary for public 15 recreation use, to allocate water and reservoir capacity to 16 recreation, and to provide for the public use and enjoyment 1' of project lands, facilities, and water areas in a manner co- 18 ordinated ivith other project purposes. The Secretary is 19 authorized to enter into agreements tuith Federal agencies or 20 State or local public bodies for the operation, maintenance, 21 and additional development of project lands or facilities, or to 22 dispose of project lands or facilities to Federal agencies, or 23 State or local public bodies by lease, transfer, conveyance, or 24 exchange, upon such terms and conditions as will best pro- 25 mote the development and operation of such lands or facilities |
