A Well, we have thought of what; we would have to go down about a mile and a half. Q Is there any physical condition of the land there that would prevent a dock being locate below these places where the washes occur? A Yes; right below Courthouse wash there, have a big flood in Courthouse, sometimes that leaves a sandbar on the side of the river. Q I mean, is there any reason why a dock could not be located below these washes rather than above? A No; there is a place there about a mile and a half below our dock would be a very good place for dock. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I merely ask that, Mr. Blackmar, because I was curious to know why, with the evident trouble witnesses have testified to as to the washes, why the dock was located above rather than below.
