Show 7120 Beach- D 5101 A Couple of hours. Q Where was that? A I think that was down at Kane Spring wash. Q how did that happen, do you know? A We had had a heavy storm, thunder cloud burst up in there; it had washed silt down in there and changed the channel of the river. Q What is the next longest time you have any recollec-tion of being held up? A Well, the next time was about, I should judge, an hour, down on that other sandbar below. Q What is the next time you recall being held up, the length of it? A well, several others, -- a time or two we got held up we wouldn't be just a minute or two, just back right off, but that was the longest time I was ever on a sandbar. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q What was the work you were doing on this bar? A I was helping to load and unload, then I drove the boat a little. MR. FARNSWORTH: Cross examine. |
