Superfamily Spiroboloidei Attems 1909 are represented in the Philippine Islands. Of families, Spirobolidae the former, although there were seven species previously recorded by others, none was found by me in this collection. For the second family the first record is here given for this fauna, I having found one old genus with four new species pertaining to the family. Family Spirobolidae Brolemann 1913 Seven species are recorded for the Philippine Islands, but I found none in this collection. 13. Genus Spirobolus Wood 1865 Generetype: Spirobolus marginatus Say The following species are listed under Spirobolus where they were originally described, but they probably belong elsewhere than to that genus as now restricted and here diagnosed. These species have not been recognized in the material studied by me. Only when the types are avail able and restudied can they be accurately asstgned to be their genera. In the meanwhile they are best to be left in Spirobolus sens. lat. 25. Spirobolus (?) hamatus Voges 1878 Z. Wiss. zooi. XXXI, p. 184. Locality: Philippine Islands. 26.
