Hab. Para (Natt.). Mus. Brit., Vindob., Paris. There is one specimen of this rare Guan in the British Museum and one in the Paris collection, both originally from birds living in captivity. The species may be immediately distinguished by the want of the conspicuous white wing-patch, which is replaced by narrow edgings to some of the wing-coverts. Genus 5. ABURRIA. T Aburria, Reichenb.
