Show KUER This year will mark the sixth year of KUER radio broadcasting. During this period it has provided its listening audience with classical music, news, and other special listening programs in conjunction with the speech and music departments. All programs were under the supervision of a small professional staff. The station gave the students practical experience and the community a clasical non-commercial FM radio station operating Monday through Saturday from its studio in Kingsbury Hall. KUED, Channel 7, the state's educational television station, is located on the University's campus. Its programs are in three categories: school programming for elementary schools, adult programs and general informational and cultural entertainment. It has over twenty full time and part time staff members, including professional executives and students. The facilities are used by radio and television majors in their courses of instruction. KUED studios are located in the Music Hall. Transmitting facilities are on Mount Vision. KUED |
