Highlighting this year's series was the Reynold's Lecture on Utah's financial problems delivered by Dr. Jewell J. Rasmussen. Also under the sponsorship of the University Lecture Series was the Leigh Lecture and various student seminars. University panel presents detailed discussion concerning American policy in Asia. House of Representatives Majority Leader, Carl G. Albert, praises Johnson's Great Society. . y«... Provost Sterling McMurrin discusses the eclipse of the individual in modern society. The Philosophy Department presented this year's forum on "Great Issues in American Social Morality." In its thirteenth year, the lecture series drew noted personalities from the community and visiting speakers. Commenting on the "Ethical Basis of Politics," was Yale Professor Emeritus, Dr. Brand Blanshard. Other guests included representatives from the United Auto Workers Union and the Committee of Economic Development lecturing on "Business and the General Welfare."
