Show Graduates With an opportunity to become more learned in their subject areas, graduate students continued their formal education. Research labs, special seminars, graduate theses, and intensified study occupied the attentions of these students. The Library proved to hold valuable resources for the graduate. Some graduates served as teaching assistants; some as lab technicians. All graduates, however, joined together in their scholarly pursuit of knowledge. Degrees were offered in many academic fields. At the end of the academic year, the University acknowledged the graduates' hard work by awarding them advanced degrees.
