Show Colleges A good university should offer its students degree curricula in all the major disciplines, whether they be in the professional, pre-professional or liberal arts fields. The University of Utah is comprised of thirteen separate colleges which include the graduate school and the Division of Continuing Education. Three of these colleges - Engineering, Fine Arts and Continuing Education - are under the direction of new deans this year. Through the colleges, the university student is offered a broad spectrum of study opportunities covering almost every desirable area of human knowledge. The entering student is initially enrolled in the College of Letters and Science with simultaneous or "dual" enrollment in the professional college of his choice, or in the appropriate academic area within the College of Letters and Science itself. Upon completion of the General Education requirements, a student is singly enrolled. Business The University of Utah College of Business provides the background business leaders are looking for.
