Utah is below the U.S. median in the percentage of people reporting consumption of five or more alcoholic drinks on one or more occasion within the last month (Table 54). Utah dropped in the percentage of people 18 years of age and above who reported binge drinking between 1986 and 1988, and then increased in 1989 (Figure 40). Figure 40__________________________________ The percentage of men between 18 and 34 years old dropped after 1986 and remained at a fairly consistent percentage since that time (Figure 41).
