Utah is below the national median in the percentage of people considered overweight (Table 52). Utah remained below the U.S. median between 1987 and 1990 for those 18 years and older (Figure 37), and women with low incomes (Figure 38). The percentage of low-income women in Utah who are overweight increased substantially between 1987 and 1990.
