Show wmimmOne of tKe best known and most coveted queen titles at colleges everywhere is tfiat of Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. Sigma Chi, the oldest fraternity on campus, was founded at Miami University in June, 1855, and thus is a traditional part of the Miami Triad. The Sigs were founded here in 1908. They annually sponsor the Melon Mess for the whole school in the fall and also Derby Days for sorority pledges. Other major parties included their Sweetheart Ball and the Western Party.
