The listing of more than 300 record albums made the private listening rooms the Mecca of Music-1 students. Bach, Brubeclt, Belafonte, Beethoven, what s your choice. They were all included and continually supplemented as the older editions turned grey from use.In addition, the Browsing Room subscribed to 36 magazines and 65 different newspapers from all parts of the nation.Whether the information was derived from the literature available or the personal contact made in near-silence, the added facilities of the room proved it to be a popular rendezvous where one could keep up on current events.Linda PetersenKarl R.
