Show ANN CLINGERPresident, Pankellenic. . . i Sherry Whitesides Linda DaughtersLee OlsenSydna MasonJudy EarlSue StringhanMary Lou Stewart Carlyn Bullock Marilyn Cromar Joanne GarffStriving to justify the existence of the Greek system, the Panhellenic Association works in conjunction with IFC to promote and further the purpose of the campus fraternities.The group, composed of all members of women s sororities, was governed by a council of two elected delegates from each chapter. They were responsible for the "little sister" organization among pledge groups called Junior Panhellenic. These women also assumed responsibility for informing high school girls about the opportunities of joining a sorority.The presidency of Penhel is rotated among the individual social groups. Ann Clinger from Alpha Chi Omega led the association this year. Next year, Alpha Phi's newly elected president will automatically assume the roll of Panhel president.During the fall, University Vice President, Neal A. Maxwell addressed the committee at the IFC-Panhellenic workshop held at the homestead. For the first time, the Greek Week Banquet was opened to the public, and a forum on current events was conducted featuring guest panelists from Washington.Virginia P. Frobes, Dean of Women, and Mrs. C. V.
