Show Delta Gamma, being one of the first, was founded in 1873 at Oxford, Mississippi. The most outstanding work done by Delta Gamma throughout the nation is their project with the blind. In Salt Lake, they ran the eye tests for all pre-school children. The chapter gives an annual Christmas party for the blind children at the Primary Children's Hospital. The girls also spend many hours reading to blind students on campus and helping those people at the Arthur Murray Blind Center. This is sure proof that fraternity life can be very worthwhile. The friendly Delta Gamma's hold such honors and positions as Senior Class Secretary, WRA Presidents, Campus Chest, At Homes, and Judging Committee Chairmen; and members of Spurs, Cwean, Mortar Board, Army and Air Force Sponsors. Three of the song-leaders are Delta Gamma's. These girls proved to be great sport enthusiasts as they teamed with the Sigma Nu's to capture the WRA co-rec volleyball trophy.Gayle CrandaNancy Smith Gayle Simmons Judy Allred"Mil .
