Show In AppreciationDuring the past year, we have tried to "Build for Your Future" a collection of memories that, in years hence, will give you hours of joy and pleasure. It's been fun. . . through all the trials and tribulations - such as trying so hard to get away from such trite statements as "trials and tribulations" . . . synchronizing art, photo and copy deadlines . . . obtaining a staff that wouldn't be called off to the Army or on a mission . . . all-night sessions of paneling and indexing . . . but toboggan and D-Day (Distribution-Day) parties and seeing the final product tells us it was well worth it.One of the biggest pleasures we received from producing your yearbook was the many wonderful friendships made in the process . . . we'd like to thank those who helped us, particularly:• All the wonderful yearbook staffers who have worked so hard in producing the UTONIAN, especially Betty Ward, who was always on hand when needed-and Ron Crosby, our artist . . .• Our printers at Mercury Publishing Company and Wheelwright Lithographing Company for their fine work . . .• All the people at Ridges Engraving ... for their fast and friendly service . . .• The Broadway and Ideal people for their beautiful portrait and Queen pictures . . .• The Mountain States Bindery people for their very attractive covers . . .• Orie Behrmann for his terrific action photos . . .• All our advertisers and supporters . . .• "Parm" for his untiring efforts . . . and his untiring secretary, Pat, both who guided us through many problems and gave us moral support when needed . . .• And especially you, for buying and reading this Book. We hope you enjoy it.Sincerely,Mcmie GUudiendei^, Editor , Manager |
