Show STUDENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE was the highest court as far as student activities were concerned. Students and faculty members were presented equally on the committee which acted on committee proposals, student problems and questions of right and wrong in activity plans. Willard W. Blaesser, Myrtle Austin, John L. Ballif and Theron S. Parmelee represented the faculty while Shirley Stanger, DuWayne Hodge, Dick Winters, Ken Smith and Shirley Frame acted for the students. The big furor this year, which arose over trophies and Greek versus Independent competition in campusevents, came under the jurisdiction of Student Affairs.Student Arrairs . . .. . . Apportionment Board1 »APPORTIONMENT BOARD, a cooperative group of students and administrators, met to determine just where student activity funds should go and just how much to charge for activity fees. President A. Ray Olpin, Leon D. Garrett, L. H. Kirkpatrick, Webster W. Decker, Willard W. Blaesser, Theron S. Parmelee, Ken Smith, Frank Johnson, Alan Morten-sen, Sharee Brugger and Louis Midg-ley constitute the membership of the Board. Their big concern now is the deficit in student activity funds and the necessity of raising student fees. |
