Show Each morning by 8 a.m. the DAILY CHRONICLE is available to the University Campus ... one of the largest dailies in Utah, it is not confined to the state . . . read from Japan to Michigan, Montana to Mexico City, its pages report world, national, state, city and campus news.The newspaper men and women of the "Chrony" may be editors, reporters, photographers, authors, reviewers and interviewers, each following the phase (or phases) of journalistic pursuit concurrent to what is needed."Letters to the Editor" involve hot and arduous arguments on McCarthyism, Indo-China, religion, campaign promises or improvements for the University.Notices occur daily to inform about meetings, photo appointments or opportunities to join certain organizations.The four page paper comes out dependably rain or shine - with photos and news stories, Worthal and society columns.Time and work are involved - paper work, mental work, footwork - all combined with dashes of enthusiasm, honesty and fairness.Editors Dianne and Pierre and their journalistic faithfuls have campaigned for a bigger and better University and helped provide the medium of consistent communication on campus.Exchange Editors were Suzanne Burbidge and Ginger Jex.Reed Jacobs, Business ManagerAndy MelvilleAdvertising ManagerMarilyn Mattsson Associate Editor39 |
