Show MIKE KILLPACK It took us a while to figure out that Mike Killpack is not doing huge amounts of marijuana on the side. He always has that "Joe-Cool" smile while sitting quietly in the back of the classroom, but he never smells like dope and he's never offered us any whenever we make a point of sitting next to him. Still, he's so quiet and mellow, so friendly. He never looks pissed or frazzled or irritable, never complains about the exams or the hassles of school, never snaps at anybody else or cries. Also, he wants to become an internist. He MUST be doing drugs. No way could a medical student be so calm, naturally. It's just not right. Can any of you figure out how he does it? We always believed that it was required that we be jumpy, compulsive, and nervous wrecks after four years. Mike hasn't been beaten by the system at all, and in fact looks happier now than he did when we started. It's gotta be drugs ... Rumor has it that he may be suffering from water toxicity, chlorine toxicity, and mild anoxia after swimming competitively for the U for so many years. That would explain a lot, except for his bizarre desire to become an internist ... 69 |
