Show Coffee Drinkers Preferred Page 290 of 307 I could not use a Google search to help me find an application like this. The people who wrote these apps shared them with a few close friends. Steve had managed to either find one, buy one or write one. Whichever the case, he had one. He would not risk losing a rare and valuable program like that. He would back it up on any and all hardrives he possessed, including the 160 gig drive on a laptop that he loaned out. Why? Because even someone who knew what they were looking for would likely never even find this app if it was well hidden. He was perfectly safe. lEs muy excondido? Buddha with the nudge as always: quite hidden? he asked. Hidden! Yes, Buddha, escondido! He would not only camouflage the file with an inconspicuous name and bury it in j other files that looked unremarkable, he would do all that and then hide the subdirectory! I had been using the terminal to show directories but I hadn't keyed hidden directories. I did. The system scrolled hundreds of hidden directories each of which might be its own maze. So now I was a mouse in search of cheese at the end of a maze. Things were looking up. Zeus's thunderbolts rattled the windows outside; I wasn't going anywhere. I ordered out for pizza. |
