I had to get in touch with Steve. I couldn't call him because his phone number was locked inside two phones that were both getting a blow job at the moment and I -had no way of knowing if they would ever come back to life. Okay. I needed to find Steve's number. He had no landline going out to his trailer. Calling information was not going to work. I tried it anyway. Sanpete. Steve Cole offered nothing. I also tried his business name, Cole Investigations. Nothing. That seemed strange. I mean, it was after all, a business. Owners of businesses usually like people to know that the business exists. This is how they get customers and clients, right? So that they can make money? Right? That there was not a listing for Cole Investigations triggered something within me. It was not the first time I had been suspicious of Steve but I think it was the first time I had been genuinely suspicious. I trekked the seven blocks to my car and this time managed to get my laptop. There was a. cafe with wifi and a free table next to the sidewalk.
