I suppose the miracle from the title of that pageant is that almost no one has ever asked if any of those swords have been found. The answer to that question is a resounding no. We have Babylonian swords, Hitite swords, Egyptian Swords, Greek swords and Roman swords. All cultures that predate this great battle by hundreds of years and yet we have not one sword from this battle in which over two million swords were flashing. Some members of my church say that God cleaned them up to strengthen our faith, the same way that he created and buried all those dinosaur bones. According to my church, the world is not old enough for dinosaur bones. Many believe that they are just a little joke played by God on the faithless scientists. Those silly archeaologists and scientists. What do they know anyway? |
