The building of brick is attached to the building on the east with a stucco facade and Spanish-style tile cornice which combine to create a facade appearance that the two buildings are one. About 1921 Dixon Real Estate Co. (LeRoy Dixon and J. Elmer Jacobson) was moved from offices in the Farmers and Merchants Bank to this building which had been built to replace a 1907 adobe and brick structure (#236-234, George C. VanWagner, dry goods and groceries). By 1924 the Provo Chamber of Commerce also occupied the building. |
