Show Mr. Dennis 01sen Page 3 May 16, 1974 P.S. After giving this to my secretary an important concept hit me. I think we need to expand the importance of the Indian Deferral Agreement. In fact, arguing the presence of the Indians in the court is practically mandating an impact statement on the entire Central Utah Project. Also, I think we should be sure to bring up the geographical argument, to wit, the future projects are not speculative for we know where the water must come from, the ecological area from which that water is found, the impact statement itself with reservoirs, canals, etc., illustrative of the future units, and finally, of course, the Indian situation. I seem to recall, however, that this last sequence poitate wi^ihssomething we discussed specifically for a rebuttal brief a while back. At any rate, this will serve to remind you. ( H.A.R. W<L£ |
