It i s interesting to note however, th*fr four to five years of planning for such an emergen©/ came within several weeks of meeting the time of needo The need was just beginning and serious curtailment in the use of water would have resulted had aot t h i s source of water been developed© It i s also interesting to note that on the day i t was put i n operation t h i s supply almost doubled the water available to the c i t y from a l l other sources*. At the present time the people of Cedar City have a water supply that i s adequate, healthful and palatablee At the present t:j,ie tha water in the Cedar City system meets the standards of the Utah Stat© Board of Health and the U© S. Board of Health© With the coming of |
