(This affidavit must be sworn to before the register or receiver of the land district in which the land is located, or before a United States Commissioner, or commissioner of a court exercising Federal jurisdiction in the Territory, or before a judge or clerk of any court of record in the county or land district in which the land is situated. If the affidavit is made out of the county in which the land is situated it must be shown by affidavit that it was made before the nearest or most accessible qualified officer in the land district.) I, Herman G. Thomas, of Blythe, California, claiming to be the assignee of Mills Edward Fletcher who made E. C. 0674 Desert-Land Entry No. 010684, on the eighteenth day of May {May 27/12), 1910, at the district land office at Los Angeles, California, do solemnly swear that I, am a native-born (Born in Kentucky) citizen of the United (Affiant must state whether native born, naturalized, or has filed declaration of intention to become a citizen. If not native born, certified copy of naturalization or declaration of intention, as the case may be, must be filed with this affidavit.)
