Show [27] ITEM 6 [Letterhead of] Imperial Irrigation District El Centro, California January 9, 1925. U. S. Land Office, El Centro, Calif. Gentlemen: This is to advise you that James H. Hunter, entryman, under serial #04177, El Centro, on the Wy2 of the NE}4 and the NW^ of the SEji, Sec. 17, Township 14 S., Range 13 E., S.B.M., filed a petition with the Board of Directors of Imperial Irrigation District, that said land above described be included within the boundaries of Imperial Irrigation District. The Board about July 8th, expressed its willingness to include said land within the District, when the proper legal steps had been taken, and instructed the Secretary to give proper notice. I have caused to be published a notice in the Imperial Valley Press, that the aforesaid land will be included within the District, on January 27th, 1925, if there are no objections filed, which notice is appearing on Jan. 2, 9, 16 and 23rd and have also posted notices in each of the election precincts of Imperial Irrigation District, as required by law. The necessary steps have been taken by James H. Hunter, entryman, by filing of proper petition of Inclusion. The hearing of this case will come up as afore-stated, before the Board on January 27, 1925. Upon inclusion of the land by the District Board, a water right |
