Show [19] ITEM 4 [Letterhead of] Temporary Office of the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company Mutual System of Palo Verde Valley Oxnard, Cal., March 8, 1916. To the Register and Receiver, of United States Land Office, at Los Angeles, California, and To Whom It May Concern: This is to certify that the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company is a corporation, and is a mutual water company, and is engaged in the business of maintaining and operating an extensive irrigation system in the Palo Verde Valley, in Riverside County, State of California; that said irrigating system is not entirely completed; that it now has completed more than 100 miles of canals, and that it is the intention and policy of the Company to diligently proceed with the completion of said irrigating system; that the North-East quarter of Section 25, Township 7 South, Range 22 East, S.B.B. & M., in said County, is distant one mile from Lateral C of said system, and that, in order to furnish water from said system to said land, it would be necessary to construct a canal for a distance of at least one mile; that said Company is ready and willing to construct a canal, which will irri- |
