(Male or female.) Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, do solemnly (Town, County, and State.) swear that I am a native born citizen and the wife of a native born citizen citizen of the United States, of the (Applicant must state whether native born, naturalized, or has filed declaration of intention to become a citizen. If not native born, certified copy of naturalization or declaration of intention, as case may be, must be filed with this affidavit.) age of 26 years, and by occupation a housewife; that my post-office address is Box Cor. Spence & Mines. 3456 Union Pacific Ave. Los Angeles, California.; that I intend (If a city, street and number must be given.) to reclaim a tract of desert land not exceeding one-half section, or 320 acres, by conducting water upon the same within four years from date of entry, in manner as required by the Act of Congress approved March 3, 1877, entitled "An act to provide for the sale of desert lands in certain States and Territories," as amended by the Act of March 3, 1891. The land which I intend to reclaim is desert land and is described as follows: {EJ/2 of SE YA Sec. 10, Twp. 14 S. R. 13 E.) East One Half (E y2) of Southeast Quarter (SE %), Section Ten (10), (A map must be furnished which shall exhibit a plan showing the mode of contemplated irrigation as required by section 4 of said act. When practicable, the dimensions of said map should be 8y2 x 14 or 14 x 17 inches.) |
