B. & M» Said water to be diverted from each, either or all of the following points of diversion: (a)At a point as described under paragraph 21 (a) (b)From Grass Valley Creek and water Canyon Creek below the jundtion of said creek at apoint S. U3°O7 'W. 15893 ft. from SE corner of Sec. 30, T. 38 S., R. ill W., S.L.B. & M. Said water to be stored from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 as stated under paragraph 21 (b) and used from May 1st to Sept. 1st to irrigate 5,000 additional acres of land as described under paragraph 21. (•). This appropriation which includes both items above of equal priority is founded upon application to appropriate waiter No.2711 filed and of record in the office of the State Engineer of Utah, to which record reference is hereby made. Said water to be diverted from an unnamed wash or ravine a tributary of Ash Creek (Ash Creek is not tributary to the Santa Clara River) at a point S. 82° 00 fE. 21,000 ft. from the si corner Sec. 29, T. 38 S. R. lli W., S.L.8. & M. and conveyed by means of a canal into Saw Mill Canyon Creek, a tributary of Grass Valley Creek, and thence down Grass Valley Creek into the Newcastle Irrigation Conpany reservoir and released by means of a tunnel into Pinto Creek, a tributary to Sevier River, and rediverted at a point 1900 ft. W., and 330 ft. S. of SE corner Sec. 16, T. 36 S., R. 15 W., S.L.B. & M. and used to irrigate 700 additional acres of land in Sees. 2, and 25 T. 36 S., R. 16 W., S.L.B. & M. Said water to be diverted as stated in paragraph 21 (g) and stored from Jan. 1 to Dec, 31 in the Newcastle Irrigation Co, reservoir and released from March 1 to Oct. 1 by means of a tunnel into Pinto Canyon, commingled, rediverted and used to irrigate 500 additional acres as stated in said paragraph 21 (g). This appropriation which includes both items above of equal priority , is founded upon application to appropriate water No. 272U filed ari of record in the office of the State Engeneer of Utah, to which record reference is hereby made. Said water to be diverted from the South Fork of Pine Valley Creek, a tributary of Santa Clara River, at a point S. 62°OOfE# 15,^00 ft. from the Sj corner Sec. lli,T, 39 S., R. l£V7., S.L.B. & M. conveyed by means of a canal and tunnel into Pinto Canyon and commingled with the waters of Pinto Canyon Creek, a tributary of the Sevier River, rediverted at a point 1900 ft. W. and 330 ft. S. of SE corner Sec. 16, T. 36 S., R. 15 W., and used to irrigate 700 additional acres in Sec. 23, 25, 27, 28, and 16, T. 36 S., R. 16 W., S.L.B. & M. |
