E. of the SJ4 Cor. of Sec. 19, T. 41 S., R. 12 W. and used to irrigate 7000 acres described as follows: Sees. 29, 30, 31 and 32 T. 41 S., R. 13 W.; Sees. 25 and 36 T. 41 S.f R. 14 W:; Sees. 6, 7, 18, 19, 30 and 31, T. 42 S., R. 13 W.; Sees. 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, 25, 1, 2, 11, 35 and 36, T. 41 S., R. 13 W. from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. Said water to be diverted from the Virgin River at a point 54 ft. S. and 515 ft. W. of the W% Cor. of Sec. 19, T. 41 S., R. 12 E. and used to irrigate 660.0 acres of land. NOTE: Waters available to be distributed between St. George & Washington Can-nal Co., Hurricane Canal Co. and LaVerkin Bench Canal Co. shall be distributed as follows: Of the first 45 c.f.s. LaVerkin Bench Canal Co. shall receive 6 c.f.s. Of any amount between 45 c.f.s. and 110 c.f.s. LaVerkin Bench Canal Co. shall receive 9.25 per cent. Said water to be determined by taking the sum of the amounts in the canals of the three companies measured at the three main points as follows: In the St. George & Washington Canal Co. canal at the Sproul Head-gate; in the Hurricane Canal Co. canal at a point immediately above the first diversion lateral at the town of Hurricane; in the LaVerkin Bench Canal Co. canal immediately above the entrance to the tunnel. When water available exceeds 131.5 c.f.s. LaVerkin Bench Canal Co. shall recieve the next 2 c.f.s. from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 Said water to be diverted from the La Verkin Hot Springs 1080 ft. S. of the WJi Cor. of Sec. 25, T. 41 S., R. 13 W. Salt Lake Base and Meridian, from where it will be conveyed by means of a pipe line for a distance of approximately 2500 ft. and there used for bathing, heating, sanitarium and general resort purposes. After having been so diverted and used, the water will be returned to the natural channel of the stream, at a point which lies 1,452 ft. W. of the W}4 Cor. of Sec. 25, T. 41 S., R. 13 W. (b) Feb. 13, 1917 (Application No. 7158)) (Proof Due Oct. 1, 1926) 9.5 c.f.s. from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. Said water to be diverted from the LaVerkin Hot Springs at a point 1080 ft. S. of the NW Cor. of the SW^ of Sec. 25, T. 41 S., R. 13 W., Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and conveyed by means of a pipe line for a distance of 1200 ft. and there used as a supplementary supply for bathing, heating, sanitarium and general resort purposes. After having been so used, the water will be returned at a point which lies 1925 ft. N. and 1789.4 ft. E. from the SW Cor. of the SE# oi Sec. 26, T. and R. aforesaid. |
