S. of SE corner of Sec. 16, T. 36 S., R. 15 W., S. L. B. & M. and used to irrigate 700 acres of land in Sees. 3,U,5,6, 7, and 18, T. 36 S., R. 15 W. and Sees. 26 and 27, T. 35 S., R. 15 W. Said water to be diverted from each, either or all of the following points of diversion. (a)From North Fork of Pine Valley Creek, a tributary of Santa Clara River at a point S. 77 09E. 17, 180 ft. from the sj corner Sec. lh, T. 39 S., R. 15 W# (b)From Middle Fork of said - - - -Creek at a point S. 67 57 (E. 16,523 ft. from saidj Sec. corner into the Newcastle Canal. Said water to be stored from Jan. 1, to Dec. 31 of each year in the Newcastle Irrigation Co. reservoir inundating 1120 acres of land in NEj Sec. 11, E| Sec. 2, WJr Sec. 1, T. 39 S., R. 15 W. add Si Sec. 35, Si Sec. 36, T. 38 S., R. 15 W., S.L.B. & M. Said water to be released by meansof a tunnel from the said reservoir into Pinto Canyon Commingled with the waters of Pinto Creek an tributary of Sevier River, and rediverted at a point 1900 ft. W. and 33o ft. S. of SE corner of Sec. 16, T. 36 W., R. 15 W., and used to irrigate 1666.7 acres of land in Sees. 3,^4,5,6,7, and 18, T. 36 S., R. 15 W. and Sees. 26 and 27 T. 35 S., R. 15 W., S. LB. & M. priority whioh includes both items above of equal/to appropriate w water No. 2638 filed and of record in the office of the State Engineer of Utah, to which record reference is hereby made. Said water to be diverted as stated in the second preceding paragraph and used to irrigate 700 additional acres of land in Sees. 3,1,5,6,7,8,9,10, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, T# 38 S., R. 16 W., Sec. 12 and 13, T. 37 S., j S 6 28, 31, 32,33, 3l, S.L.B. & M. 21, 22, T# 38 S., R. 16 W., Sec R, 17 V., Wj Sec. 26, Sees. 27, W| Sec. 35, T. 35 S., R. 15 W., Said water to be diverted as stated in paragraph 21 (a) and (b) ari stored from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 as stated under paragraph 21 (b), and used to irrigate 1000 additional acres of land as described under paragraph 21 (c) which inclides both items above of equal priority. This appropriation is founded upon application to appropriate water No. 2675 filed and of record in the office of the State Engineer of Utah, to which record reference ishereby made. |
