Show CHI OMEGA Chi Omega is a national sorority. That means that there are suckers at more than one university. Since Chi Omega is national, it is vastly superior to the other sororities at Utah. The superiority is shown by the Chi-0 rushing method. When a rushee is entertained she is beguiled into a telephone booth and the door is locked. When the prospective pledge is nearly suffocated, the door is unlocked and a pledge pin is thrust upon her. The method is very successful; when it doesn't work, "we love you" telegrams are dispatched to bring the uncaught rushees around. ALPHI CHI The Alpha Chi crest displays a pair of treys. This shows that the girls don't hold much, but like to bluff just the same, like poker. They also have in their crest a lighted lamp which they got from the w. k. Educational Pictures trade mark, "the spice of the program." The A. X.'s are the spice of anything, anywhere, anytime and are just as good as a national any day in the week. Alpha Chi girls are especially noted for gold digging, being the women who invented the art. We know one who could dig gold in a lead mine. Manv of the alumae members could rate Ziegfield's Follies on their gold digging proclivities if Mr. Ziegfield didn't insist upon a certain degree of pulchritude (beauty). LAMBDA PHI LAMBDA The Lambda pin is in the form of an hour glass and represents two loving cups placed end to end. The name stands for Lucky Phor Ladies meaning that it is extremely unlucky for mere man to step them. Although Lambda Phi Lambda is at present a social, it will soon be an honorary drinking fraternity if the girls can win a few more cups. The Lambda have twenty-four members and eighteen cups now. When they get a cup per number they will incorporate as self-honorary booze-lappers. This will be about next Christmas. When the Lambdas aren't gloating over their loving cups they are thinking up acts for the next song fest. When they aren't doing either of these things they function as a social and manage to give a party a year, sometimes. GAMMA SIGMA Some of the Gamma Sigs are sweet and darling.
