Show Treaties and Agreements - 671 Oct. 10, 1890 Parker, Geo. M.(?), St. George, Utah Letter to C. A. Bartholomew, So. Ute Agency Parker is in Utah to look after a little band of Indian (?). He reports that the people of Utah are " awfully down on the Ute removal" and asks if anything was done to move the Utes during the last Congress. Apr. 2, 1891 Bartholomew, C. A., Agent, So. Ute Agency Letter to S. H. Sincoln, Commanding, Ft. Lewis Bartholomew responds to white settlers' fears that the So. Utes are planning an " outbreak" because of the government's failure to ratify their treaties. He denies such is the case, but will investigate the matter. Sept. 21, 1891 Bartholomew, Chas. For the past three years Congress has failed to ratify the agreement regarding their removal, which the tribe desires. Attached are school statistics ( FRCD/ RG 75). S.
