Show Treaties and Agreements - 677 Leupp presents a report on the progress toward awarding Southern Ute Indians land in severalty and moving those who chose not to take land to the west end of the reservation. S., agencies, tribes occupying or belonging to the reservation, area of each reservation ( unalloted) in acres or square miles, and reference to treaty, law of other authority by which the reservations were established. Ute Agency Day is reminded of the provisions of the Act of February 20, 1895, which call for the establishment of an agency at Navajo Springs for the distribution of supplies to the Southern Ute Indians who chose not to accept land in severalty- Day is ordered to make plans for such an agency and submit them to the office for consideration.
