Time of elect- ' Sec, 5. On the first monday of April next, and ev'ery u>n* two years thereafter, on said day, sn ehction thall b& held, for the election of one Mayor, /uur Aldermen, and nine Councilors; and at the first election under this or-dioance, three Jvidges shall be chosen, viva vooe, by the Jndgei>&cierkBt:lvc!ors prefent. The said" Judgesshall choose Clerks, of election. and the Judges and Clerks before entering upon their ]utie~s shall Utke >nd sxibscribe an oalli or affirmation, such as is n quirt law to be taken by Judges and •Cldks of oiher elections; and at all sub.-equenfc elections, the neressajy mimbcr of Judges and Clerks shall be appointed by the City Council. At the first election sbheld, the polls pliall be opened at nine o'clock a. m , and closed at hx o'clock p. m.
