Description 157 Court having jurisdiction, and paid into the Territorial Treasury. Sec. 5. That James Brown, Sen., shall have the right arante to establish ferries across said rivers until the said bridges feny* shall have been completed, and charge ferriage at the same rates as provided for toll. Approved June 4th, 1853. AN ACT Granting Abiah War&sworth, Ira N. Spaulding, and Willard G. McMullen, the right of erecting a Toll Bridge across the Weber River, near the mill of Abiah Wardsworth & Co* Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Utah, That Abiah Wards-worth, Ira N. Spaulding, and Willard G. McMullen, are hereby authorized and required to erect by the earliest possible date, a good, durable, and substantial bridge across Weber river, n°.ar the Mill of Abiah Wardsworth & Co., and keep it constantly in good repair, and make ?ridfge, *• bej and keep the road in good condition at either extremity of repair, said bridge, until it reaches e-round that is sound and dry An(iroad *¦ ,.,-,. °i , r x g°od condition at the highest stages ot Avater. Sec. 2. The said Abiah Wardsworth, Ira N. Spaulding, and Willard G. McMullen, are hereby authorized to charge and collect toll, by law if necessary, for crossing said bridge, at the following rates, viz.: For every vehicle drawn by two animals <$2 00 " " two additional animals to said vehicle - - - - 50 " '*. man and horse ... 50 " " pack unirnal - 50 " •' loose horse, mule, jack, ox, cow or bull - - - - 20 " " sheep, hog, calf, colt or goat - 05 11 " footman .... jo Sec 3.
