Description 155 AN ACT To repeal " Aji Act granting Jatnes Brown the right, of taking Toll on the Public Road in Ogden City," approved March 2d, 1852. Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Utah, That the Act entitled M An Act granting James Brown the right of taking Toll on the Public Road in Ogden City," approved March 2d, 1852,. be, and the same is hereby repealed. Approved June 4th, 1853. .AN. ACT Allowing Compensation to James Brown for making a Road and constructing Bridges across the Weber and Ogden Rivers. Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative, Assembly of the Territory of Utah, That the Territorial Com- Territory r0. missioner proceed immediately to value and appraise the w for road-Road constructed by James Brown between the Weber And Ogden Rivers, and draw upon the Territorial Treasury for the appraised value thereof, in favor of said James Brown or his representatives, and the Territorial Treasurer is hereby instructed to pay the same out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Sec. 2. Be it also enacted, That the further sum of one thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Territorial Treasury, as compensation to* the said James Brown, for his labor and endeavors in constructing bridges across the aforesaid rivers, and thatsaid amount be drawn for, and paid as above provided for said road.
