Description 96 AN ORDINANCE Prohibiting the sale of Arms, Ammunition, or Spirit ious Liquors to the Indiana. PASSED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, MARCH 28TH, 1850. Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the General Assembly of the State of Deseret, That if any person shall hereafter trade or give any guns, rifles, pistols, or any other deadly weapons, ammunition or spirituous liquors, to any Indian; without having a license, shall on conviction thereof be- fore any Justice af the Peace, be fined in a sum not exceeding five hundred dollars for each offence, and also forfeit all the property received from the Indian, which shall be sold, and the proceeds thereof paid into the Public Treasury. Approved March 28th, 1850. AN ORDINANCE To control the waters of the Twin Springs, and Bock Spring, in Tooele Valley, anti County; for mills and irrigating purposes. PASSED BJT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, DECEMBER 4TH, 1850. Be it ordained by the General Assembly of the State of Deseret, That Ezra T. Benson is hereby granted the exclusive privilege of controling the waters in Tooele Valley, Tooele County, known as the Twin Springs; also th« waters that issue from a spring called the Kock Spring, in. said Valley and County, for mills and irrigating purposes.
