Dorsal fin rather large, rounded, falcate, and situated immediately behind the middle of the body; pectoral fin triangular, rather pointed, moderately broad at the base, posterior margin not emarginate. Upper surface slaty black, paling to grey on the sides and under surface. Skull rather full and rounded behind, moderately broad in front ; rostrum tapering, rather narrow at the base; dentition of adult 4-f-. Hab.
