Menado, Celebes. 3; B.M. The finest species in the genus. It appears not to mimic any thing. 9. DYCTIS VITELLIA. Papilio vitellia, Cramer, Pap. Exot. iv. pl. 349. figs. E, F (1782). ? Batchian, Kaioa Island, Ternate (Wallace). This species is unknown to me ; it probably resembles one of the dark Euplwee. 11. DYCTIS PAPUA. Elymnias papua, Wallace, Trans. Ent. Soc. London, p. 329 n 28 (1869). New Guinea (Wallace). Mr. Wallace says that "this species closely resembles a Euplcea.," Unfortunately he does not mention which Euplcea. |
