West Africa : Senegal, Gambia, and Sierra Leone ; Angola (Bocage). Skull of adult male: length 5 inches; height at occiput 2\ ; width of zygoma 2|; length of nose from orbit 2\ ; length of nasals 1 \ inch. 15. CEPHALOPHUS MELANORHEUS. Cephalophus melanorheus, Gray, Cat. Ungul. B. M. p. 88; Knowsley Menag. t. 10. Fur soft, with intermixed rather rigid black hairs, grey-brown ; beneath white ; rump and upper part of tail black. Hab.
