LANIUS CRISTATUS, L.; Gmel. Syst. Nat. 1788, p. 298. Lanius phcenicurus, Pall. Upper parts reddish brown ; crown the same from the base of the beak ; eyebrow yellowish and not well defined. A male from Amoy agrees with examples from India. Adult female resembles the male. Received frequently in full summer plumage from Trans-Baikal. 301. LANIUS SUPERCILIOSUS, L.
