In subsequent ihunual reports will be found brief statements of the progress of the vork performed by the Chippewa Commission. Since the last annnal report no schedule of allotments has been submitted. In a report by William M. The " reservedn lands melltioned in the above table ha;e been set aside in accordance with an understsnding between the Indians and the Commission that each allottee is to have an additional allotment of 80 acres in case Congress so provides, as set forth in the last annual report, page 81. The Commissioll now consists of William M. Campbell, Rockvell J. Flint, and Be~~jan~Di.r Wl illiams. Round Valley Reservation, 0al.-Since the last aulnual report of this office a Commission was appointed by the President t,o appraise the graziug and timber lands and improvements thereon included in the Round Valley Reservation as established under the act of March 3, 1873 (17 Stats., 633), but outside of the limits of the reservation as dimini~hed by section 2 of the act of Congress approved October 1, 1890 (26 Stats., 658).
