March 20, 1893, F. P. Sterling, chairman of the commission, traus-mitted to this office its report, together with certified copy of the pro-ceedings of the different councils held with the Indians. Pyramid Lake Reseruatiom, Nevada.-As stated in office report for the year 1892, an agreement was negotiated October 17, 1891, wit11 the Pah Ute Indians residing upon the Pyramid Lake Iteservation in Nevada, for the snrrender of the southern portion of the reservation embracing thetown of Wadsworth. It was transmitted to this office October 30, 1891, and reported to the Department December 5,1891, with full explanations as to its provisions. The President transmitted it to Congress January 11,1892. |
